Hello!
I’m Joney
One of the co-founders of Pause Coaching & Training. My personal journey began about 3 to 4 years ago when anxiety had such a tight grip on me that getting out of bed was a daily struggle. Emotions were haywire, and brain fog was an unwelcome companion, making it challenging to process information.
Fortunately, being a co-founder of Wild Woman Tea, crafted specifically for female well-being, provided me with a natural way to support my monthly cycle symptoms and balance emotions. It played a crucial role in maintaining my well-being for a good period. Turns out, I was among the 20% who experience perimenopause intensely.
I documented my experiences in a journal because, when I sought medical advice, I wanted to avoid being prescribed antidepressants, knowing it was more about hormones than mental health. At 43, I was aware that perimenopause might not be the first thing on the doctor’s mind. Armed with the right information, I advocated for myself and was promptly put on HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy).
Being on HRT turned out to be the best decision for me, bringing me back to feeling like my old self. I also made positive lifestyle changes that contributed to my overall well-being.
Beyond my personal journey, I’m a qualified NLP coach, hypnotherapist, and Tea herbalist. My mission is to guide and support as many people as possible through perimenopause and menopause so that they can become the best versions of themselves. 💪
Hello!
I’m Vikki
co-founder of Pause Coaching & Training. A year ago, strange things started to happen to me. I ached a bit more, my anxiety levels were through the roof, my hair went dry and began thinning, I had a fatigue I couldn’t shift…and then a few months later, the brain fog hit. Finding the right words and remembering basic English was a struggle. After meeting Joney and telling her about my other symptoms, she dropped a bombshell. “I hate to break it to you, mate, but it sounds like you’re Perimenopausal.”
At 42, and having no idea what that meant, so started my journey of learning, questioning, and wanting to support others. It became apparent I wasn’t the only one. There are loads of women out there being misdiagnosed, not knowing what their going through, or simply just trying to cope on their own.
I’m a qualified transformative coach, counsellor, NLP coach, and hypnosis practitioner, and I am passionate about supporting others. After learning how little education and information there is about perimenopause, it has become a mission of mine to spread the word, to continue learning, and to let others know they are not alone in their menopause journey.
Pause is here for you. It’s for those going through it, for those who think they might be, for those who want to help loved ones with it, and for those who just want to know more.
